Session Organization: 3v3+2 Possession game
Details/Description: Possessing team completes 3 passes and then must switch to the opposite target. Possessing team then shifts to the other side and tries to get another 3 passes followed by a switch of play. Upon switch of play, the target player only has one-touch. The possessing team must make immediate supporting runs.
Progressions: Weak side defender is initially passive so all switches of play go to the target. Weak side defender can progress to becoming live.
Coaching Points:
- Immediate supporting runs following a switch of play in to target - recognition of the forward pass/switch as the cue to support
- Body shape of player after making supporting run is open to continue attacking/possession
- Passing/Receiving technique
- Demonstrative communication

Session Organization: 6v6+2 Target game with 8 grids
Details/Description: Teams look to play in to one target, receive ball back and connect with the opposite target. If a pass is made forward from one grid to the next (or beyond), the receiver only has one touch. Attacking team must make immediate supporting runs upon every forward pass.

Details/Description: Players play a full game, but if a goal is scored off of a third man run, it's worth 3 points.

Warm-Up Supporting Runs (20 mins)
Session Organization: Supporting runs warm up
Details/Description: Two teams with one ball each passing and moving in the center space. Each team uses the endzone for players to run in to and receive. The pass into the endzone is the cue for a supporting run.
Progressions: Receiver in the endzone must play out with one touch. Third man must make supporting run to receive in the endzone. 4th Attacker makes supporting run to the opposite endzone for a switch of play.
