SAQ Warmup

Organization:

2 cones angled 20 yards apart

Instructions:

1 - light jog to center, then shuffle to orange

2 - backwards backpeddle to center, then shuffle to orange

3 - 3 jumps like your heading the ball then sprint to orange

4 - 3 jumps like your heading the ball then backpeddle to orange

5 - Laydown, up on the whistle sprint to center, then shuffle to cone

SSG Warm-Up (10 mins)

Organization:

*3 v 3=6 players

*30 by 30 yard area

*1 ball (additional on the side of goal)

*2 pug goals

Instructions:

1. Players will play small sided 3 v 3 games.

2. Normal game rules apply.

3. Set time limit and keep score.

4. Rotate players after set time.

Coaching Points:

*execution of feint

*speed of play

*1st touch forward to start dribbling

*width/depth

*head up

*timing/creativity

Must hit target man that get ball moving right away

3v3 SSG

Organization:

20x20

Instructions:

3v3 game or 2v2 depending on number of players

Kick ins or dribble in to restart

No GK's, play last man back, no hands.

15 minutes - warm up - stop play at least once to get the players thinking about today's topic

Communicate with your teammates

Proper technique when passing and shooting

Find space and link up with players to score
