P1 is serving the ball to P2. P2 starts off behind the cone which represents a defender and accelerates in front to receive the ball. P2 then checks back and goes to receive from other side
Coaching Points
- Correct weight of pass
- Call when want the ball
- 2 x different speeds - slow when checking back and quick when want to receive
- Using foot furthest from defender e.g. left foot on left side
- Always facing the ball, hips forward

2v2 RED team are defenders. They start by passing the ball to the BLUE attacking team who try and score by dribbling over the opposite line.
Coaching Points
- 1st Defender (one nearest) pressures the ball
- 2nd Defender supports. Needs to be deeper than first defender and still watching other attacker
- Communication
- Fast approach, slow arrival

2v2 with 4 goals
Players start in corners and one line on each team should always be ready with a ball. Red dribbles a ball on and tries to score. Blues are defending them. Once the reds have scored or if the ball goes out of bounds in the blue's half of the field then 2 new blues will enter the field as attackers. The red players will stay on the field and defend the new blue players. Players stay on the field until they are scored on or ball goes out in their defensive half.
Coaching Points
- Focus on correct defending techniques
- 1st defender to call "ball"
- 2nd defender provides support
- Quick transition from attack to defence - turn to face ball

Everybody is moving around the area and must CALL to receive the ball. Ball is transferred using thigh. When coach calls stop the player with the ball must do a dynamic forfeit (e.g. 5 x jumping jacks).
Progressions
- Ball is transferred using laces or head
- Once player has passed the ball they have to run backwards around a cone, butt kicks/high knees
