Warm up 1 (5 mins)

Organization:20x20 yard box

Duraton: 3 mins

Instruction: each player has a ball and must dribble inside the box. Dribble with right foot,left foot, inside, outside etc. If group is advanced introduce moves i.e. scissor, roll overs etc.

Coaching points: every time you take a step take a touch (every step a touch) keep the ball close dont kick and run after it.

Warm up 2 (5 mins)

Organization: 25x25 yard box two players without a ball rest with a ball.

Duration 7 min

Instruction:

Players must dribble around the box and avoid players without the ball. Players without ball try to steal and kick out ball, that player then joins in trying to steal a ball.

Coaching points: Keep the ball close. Head up looking for space away from defenders.
