Description

ORGANISATION

• Area: 30 metres x 20 metres
• 4 Blue Players v 4 Yellow Player inside the area, formation for both teams is a 2-1-1 (2 CB’s, 1 CM, 1 CF) with 2 Red Target Players, 1 at each end
• Red players cannot be tackled and can move along the end line to receive a pass.
• Blue players play to one end (as per diagram) Red player that receives, passes the ball into Yellow Players. Yellow Players must then look to play to the opposite Red Player
• If the ball goes out of play, game restarts with a kick in from opposite team

KEY FACTORS

• Width & Depth – Penetrating passes
• Quality of pass – pace, weight and accuracy
• First touch/Body shape /Receive on the Back Foot
• Angles and distances of support
• Communication between players
• Quick Transitions important for both teams
