- Hand Hockey - this game can be played at the end of 1/2 lesson, specially if is a class where teamwork is important, or at the beginning of the lessons

- Be confortable with a Hockey Stick
Material Needed
- Cones
- Hockey Sticks
- Hockey Balls
Set Up
- In a large area, all students will have a hockey stick and a ball
- Inside the bigger area, will be a number of small area of 3x3m, the number of this will depend on space available, number of students and their ability, less ability will mean more areas.
- Students will be driblingg around, one student will be a defender, in this game when defender wins the ball can keep it and the player that lost the ball need to go and try winning the ball back ( the same one or other)
- The smaller areas are safe spots, where defender can't get in
Progressions:
- Only one student in a island at time.
- Reduce the number of islands.
- Adding more defenders
Coaching Points:
- Keep mastering the ball and hockey stick
- Being able to look around and finding spaces where to go.
- Understanding that shouldn't wait for the defender to get close from you but always trying to move the ball away from him/her.
