Quick setup while playeers are arriving. 3 or 4 v 1 building to 6 to 8 v 2. Let players decide conditions for players getting in out of centre.

1v1 Fast Break (10 mins)

1v1 Fast Break

10m X 20m grid. Two teams at either end.

Player A starts game by attacking goal at other end - Player B defends. If Player A gets shot off towards goal (irregardless if they score) Player C starts attack the other way and Player A defends immediately. If C shoots D starts attack etc.

(Note: If B was to win ball in intial movement and shoot then D would start attack.)

NOTE: To ensure players understand objective at a younger age run through a few rounds without using a ball. Player 1 attempts to tag 2 before they can run through either goal.

Passing Pattern (10 mins)

Passing Pattern

After short dribble Player A plays pass (1) to Player B - who has made a slight check and come to meet ball - and plays ball back (2) to A who plays directly (3) to Player C. Meanwhile Player B goes round cone to meet return pass (4) from Player C and plays directly to D.

Player D performs same combination with Player C etc. Players follow pass.

Change directions after a few minutes.

Possession Game: Score on Cone Goals (15 mins)

Possession Game

3v3 or 4v4 - Teams score by making pass through triangle. Team keeps possession after scoring.

Progression: Players must take TWO touches.

Progression: Cannot score on same goal twice in a row.

Progression: Has to be one touch pass through goal.
