This session is looking at the Forwards movement and play within a Technical and Game situation.

Description
Player work in 2’s using the spare ‘forward’ who will stay in the middle against a defender. The player with the ball passing into the forward who looks to link or hold up play to help play forward. Once the players work it from one side to the other it starts again.

Description
Within area 1 the teams will play 4v3 using the player in red as a feeder/ floater the aim of the practice is to get the ball into area 2 to link with the forward and then work the ball into the box for a finish.
As soon as the ball enters the penalty box it can be only the forward and two midfield runners v the two defenders from area 2, as soon as the ball enters the penalty box the feeder gets another ball in so it will become 3v2 (3v3 with the feeder) until others recover back in.

Description
Small Sided Game 5v5 with a Floater (no contact) to score you MUST link with a forward player who is in the shaded area.
The Key factors are the same as the session and I will use this time to monitor players understanding and to give a couple of individual key points.

Passing Warm up
Description
1) The practice starts with the first player in group B to come and meet the pass from group A then dribbles the ball back to the line where the next man in group A starts the process again.
2) After the pass from group A the player who passed the ball makes a run into the middle who gets a quick 1-2 from the players from group D who will have dribbled up to the first cone, he will receive the ball back and dribble back before spining to join group C
3) The same player who quickly plays the 1-2 goes and receives the pass from group C and then will pass back to that group and spin into group D. The player from group C, who passes into the middle, runs straight to group B where the practice starts again.
