A19 Running and positional play
Purpose of this drill is for fitness and more importantly positional team structure running. Setup across entire pitch so players run in unison - has defensive focus with runs. Cone setup for formation of starting 11. Then place alternative cones for where each player needs to run to as per above
Setup with 2 of more players on each witches hat. There are three runs.
1. Run right, all players move across one station and run back to starting point.
2. Run left (repeat above)
3. Run forward - push out as a group then run backwards looking over shoulder.
