Stage 2A (5 minutes each direction): 10 Minutes
* Ball will move counter clockwise to start
* Run up, control w/ right foot, pass w/ left foot - 2 touches
* Next runner must get to space between cones in time
* Switch to left/right foot and ball moving clockwise
Coaching Points
* Once players are comfortable - needs to run at a high tempo
* Sharp and quick passing using correct weight
* Open body position
* Take as few steps as possible between 1st touch and pass to speed up the play

Stage 2B (5 minutes each direction): 10 Minutes

* Run to the center cone then check backwards, control w/ right foot, pass w/ left foot - 2 touches
* Next runner must get to space between cones in time
* 3rd man run needs to start as 1st player passes the ball
* Switch to left/right foot and ball moving clockwise

Stage 2C (5 minutes each direction): 10 Minutes
* Ball will move counter clockwise to start
* 1st player in group checks to center cones, control w/ right foot, pass back to area behind w/ left foot - 2 touches
* Player who just passed the ball moves onto the opposite station (ball moves one way around the grid, players move the other way around)
* Sequence repeats
* Switch directions after 5 minutes
* Switch to left/right foot and ball moving clockwise

Stage 3: 20-25 Minutes
The 2 players at the bottom represent the Center Backs. The 2 outside players represent the Outside Backs and the 2 players at the top represent the strikers. The player in the middle represents the Center Mid.
* Outside players can take up to 2 touches max
* Center Mids have unlimited touches
* The 4 red defenders can win the ball from any player
* Defenders must win the ball 5 times collectively to get out of the middle
Progression
* Add 2 blues to make it a 4v3 in the middle
* If the 4 reds win the ball they have unlimited touches to keep the ball from the blues
* Central blue players must transition to win it back
* Time how many passes are made (total) in 3 minutes then switch and compete

Stage 4: 30 Minutes
6v6 Game w/ Keepers
Set up in a 3-2 formation
Goalkeepers cannot punt!
