FINISHING IN SMALL SIDED GAME ( LONG RANGE & REBOUNDS GAME )
RULES :
- Split team for two 4v2 groups and add 2 goalkeepers each goal
- Game start with the goalkeeper who plays to RED player and they have to combine and own half and shoot on goal from long range ( behind the white line )
- 2 REDS on opposition half follow looking for rebounds
- Goalkeeper starts the game from the opposite end if a shot is missed or a goal is scored.
- If BLUES defender win a ball can score within 3 seconds
- Encourage players to be patient and aware in build-up / make good decisions on the ball / look for a good time to score/follow rebounds / defenders press and win a ball
PROGRESSION & VARIATIONS :
- Allow one of RED players to enter the opposition half and create 3v4 to score
- Play without locked positions but give 2 points for a long-range goal, one point for a close-range goal.
