THE SESSION:
Players race into the middle cone where coach is standing, coach throws down a coloured bib (yellow or green) whichever colour he throws down players must react and run to the marker with same colour. (can put bib on top of marker too)

Introduce an extra player to recieve the pass
on the shoulder of the defender. His movement
triggers the start of the practice.

Player on the shoulder of the defender sets the
ball back to the starting player w ho plays the
ball out to the right. This player then plays a 1-2
w ith the central player around the cone. Then
the usual sequence continues. Players alw ays
follow there pass. Work on movement around
the cone for the 1-2.

The Session:
Players in 2s or 3s on each side of a 10x10 grid. Pass and follow pass in the pattern laid out. Start with 2 touch, then progress to 1 touch if you can, 2 if you need.
Key Messages:
Quality of pass - weight, accuracy, play to correct foot
1st touch sets you up to play
Decision making - one or two touch depending on the pass you receive
