RED ZONE

DEFENDING RED ZONE

Two teams playing 1-2-3-1. Length of penalty area to penalty area, full width

Red (shaded offside zone at one end of the pitch)

The red zone is a offside area (encourages defenders and the goalkeeper to gauge opportunity to push up the pitch or drop off based on the position of the ball) Teams will play and attempt to score on the opponents goal.
