2v2 game (10 mins)
Set Up:
Mark with cones (red), an area approx. the size of an 18yd box (18x44m)
Mark central line with cones (blue)
2 mini goals, one at each end (could also be setup as a 4 goal game, or end zone game)
Balls start at one end
Instructions:
(2v2 game)
Players split into 2 teams, and line up at both ends, behind the goals.
One players plays a ball into the other half, and then runs forward to defend with a second defender
2 receiving players com into the area to receive the ball
Receiving players must get the ball over the halfway (blue) line, before scoring in EITHER goal to get 1 point for their team
If the 'passing team' win the ball and score, their points worth 2 points for their team
Everyone has a turn, before switching ends and scores are announced
Variation/Progression:
Option to make the game 3v2 or overload as needed
4 goal game option
