Football/Soccer Session (Beginner): Kick the Coach U3/U4 (Start Time: 2019-09-07 22:55:00)

KICK THE COACH 10 min

Story:

We want you to dribble after us coaches as fast as you can and when you get close try to kick us with your ball as hard as you can. We can run anywhere on the field so you might have to dribble for a while. Make sure you are only kicking your coaches with the ball, not your friends. Make sure you don't use your hands.

Organization:

1. Spread the kids out on the field with their soccer balls at their feet

2. Then have the coaches spread out away from the players

3. When the coaches say "GO" then the players start dribbling after the coaches and try to kick them with their ball

Coaching Points:

1. How to kick a ball

2. How to dribble

3. How to get your head up to see other cones or players

4. How to count your cones you kick over

5. Don’t use your hands

Developments:

-Kick the ball into the cones with your left foot

-Dribble the ball with your left foot
