Session Objectives:
1. Ability of center-backs to provide depth (outlet to build play)
2. Ability of wingbacks to create max width while providing correct supporting angle.
3. Timing of movement from center-mids to lose marker and eliminate midfield.
4. Team's ability to advance the ball into the middle third while being pressured by opponent.

Organization:
1. Set up as shown (30x20yds)
2. Groups of 5 players.
3. 15 players - 3 grids.
Instructions:
1. Players perform movement off the ball & combination play shown in the different grids.
2. Two Minute inside rotation/Four minute circuit rotation.
Coaching Points:
A: Drag defender
Ability of checking player to recognize pressure behind and drag player away with movement. Can 3rd man recognize space created and support.
B: Support Pocket
Ability of CM to slide out in a supporting pocket. Recognize correct angle depending on pressure applied to 1st attacker.
C: Support Underneath & #9 looped run.
Ability of 2nd midfielder to recognize and shift into underneath support. Ability of #9 to see/feel the pressure from behind and check to and loop run into halfspace.

Organization:
1. Set up as shown (40x25yds)
2. 7v7 playing through the lines.
3. Three Intervals of 6 minutes (30 sec rest)
Instructions:
1. Teams must transfer the ball through the zones to score on goals.
2. Attacking team can send an ONE attacking player into any zone to help overload the build up. One defending player can join zone if one attacking player joins.
Coaching Points:
1. Ability to build up play with more patience and purpose. An area to improve from out two previous matches is our ability to recognize when to possess the ball and when to penetrate.
2. If opponent is unbalanced and movement off the ball from attacking team has created passing lanes look to penetrate
3. If opponent is organized or has blocked/overloaded the area where we have the ball, let's recognize to either switch play to opposite area of the field or renew attack by playing backwards to build forward.
4. Ability to apply midfield rotations within game.

Organization:
1. Set up as shown (3 zones - 15x30x15)
2. 14-16 players.
3. Plenty of balls.
TWO INTERVALS of 8 min (30 sec rest)
Instructions:
1. Both team play a 4-2-1 shape with a neautral player (7v7+1)
2. Both teams look to score on ss goals.
3. Attacking group uses deep zone to drop off and provide depth. One defensive players is allowed to press in this zone. (free play in zones when attacking)
4. Unlimited touches.
Coaching Points:

Instructions:
1. Three Zones.
2. Player Can ONLY defend in their zones.
3. One player from each zone can move into another zone to help the overload.
4. Work on 6 moving to split CB's.
Coaching Points:
1. Technical Sharpness (Pace & Purpose of pass - which pass
will improve speed of play)
2. Movement to create an overload.
a. central player finds window for split passing option.
b. central player strecthes midfield to become an option for a switch of play.
c. central player recognizes marker and checks away to drag him away. Teammate fills in space left behind.
3. Abiltity to create overloads in the middle to final third.
