EQUIPMENT
tall cones, color vests, 12 players (6 players p/team)
SET UP
In an area 12 x 18 yrds, set up 2 teams of 6 players on each, D - defenders, A - attackers
DESCRIPTION PHASE II ( 2 x 2 )
One player of D team pass a diagonal ball to one player on Team A, as soon they receive the pass the game is alive going 2 attackers x two defender, the 2nd attacker should communicate hold , and play, so he can overlap or underlap, accordingly to the defenders position during pressure.
COACHING POINTS
2nd attacker should umbalance the defender to create space
if the 2nd defender position is good, the 2nd attacker should hold his position (wild, or depth) in order to allow ball retension.
If the cover defender is already umbalaced or square to his 1st defender, the 2nd attacker should be looking to spin behind via a split pass or off angle for a possible give and go.
If the 1st attacker decides to come in with the ball, them the 2nd attacker should be thinking in overlap.

PHASE III ( 4 X 4) 2 X 2 + 2
EQUIPMENTS
4 larger cones, soccer balls, color vests, team of 4 players on each
SET UP
iN AN AREA OF 20 x 18 YRDS, make two channels, within about 3 yrds each, two pog goals on each side, two teams of 4 at each end.
DESCRIPTION OF PHASE III
They will play 2 x 2 +2 , as soon the defenders touch the ball ( served by the coaches, the game is alive )
Same attacking prinnciples as a 3 x 3 , the 3 attacker always trying to create a width by getting into a channel, 2nd attacker always try to umbalance the defenders by offeri ng support. only one player at the channels at the time.
COACHING POINTS
Recap the rules of the 1st,2nd,and 3rd attackers as far as penetration, supporting, umbalacing
if the witdh is been creating:
Can the 3rd attacker make some penetrating runs into any open gaps left by the umbalanced defenders
by doing so it will create some space for the 1sr and 2nd attacker to play COMBOS
IF CREATING DEPTH
Can we play the 3rd attacker immediately (support the ball as the ball is travelling)
Can the 1st and 2nd attackers play possession to affect the defenders
make sure the the 1st attacker never become the last man with the ball
make sure only one player get into a channel

SET UP
In an area 12 x 18 yrds, set up 2 teams of 6 players on each, D - defenders, A - attackers
DESCRIPTION PHASE I ( 2 x 1 )
One player of D team pass a diagonal ball to one player on Team A, as soon they receive the pass the game is alive going 2 attackers x one defender, the 2nd attacker should communicate hold , and play, so he can overlap or underlap, accordingly to the defenders position during pressure.
COACHING POINTS
Make an introduction of the 2nd attacker
2nd attacker should observe the defender position, and see if the giving and go would be effective.
1st attacker should try to play the ball to the 2nd attacker with the outside of foot closest to the second attacker, in case of the defender is BLOCKING THE PASS AHEAD.
IF THE DEFENDER IS COVERING HALF/HALF, 1st atacker should penetrate as quickly as possible by passing or affecting the defender with a creative drible move,(scissors and so on)
1st attacker should observe where to pass the ball, to feet or space with a diagonal run been performed by the 2nd attacker
Attackers should be trying to play the ball forward by playing it into space or the 2nd attacker back foot ( keep a high pace game)
POINT SYSTEM
1 point for attackers (must perform a combo to get the point)
2 point for the defender if intercept and play the ball to the second attacking line.
