- Defending team try to win ball back and attack through the same way. Their defenders can set their own offside line.
- Create competition between the two teams.

- Quality of break out/through ball pass, weight, height, angle, distance, aim (to feet, in front, aerial, floor)
- Efficiency of keeping possession before breaking out. Principles of possessionl creating and maintainng space between the team, split the opposition, quality of pass, quality of touch, movement on, around and away from the ball
- Finishing; distance from goal, position of GK, type (placed, power, lob, volley, half volley, header), how (instep, laces, body shape/position), conviction and belief.
- Receiving, interpret and read flight/position of the ball, adjust accordingly. How many touches before shooting? Where is the goal when they receive the ball?

- Inscisive and descisive
Progression(s)
- Take out central area and introduce free roam (but try to maintain clear units; def, mid and att)
- Create a points system to reward difficult finishes such as first time, volleys, headers etc.
