Method:
· Team 9V9 game pressing
· Keepers can’t be pressured inside the markers
· If pressing team wins the ball they have 5 passes before they can pass ball into keepers hands
· Emphasis on pressing early & quickly.

· Max the size of the area when you gain possession of the ball

· 11 V 11 Game
· Use the width of the penalty area
· Goals at the edge of the box
· Lack of space creates pressing opportunities in a Mid Block
· Emphasis on pressing from multiple angles, with two layers of support to cut out passing angles & long ball over the top.
· Try and score if you get the opportunity
· 2 touch game
· 2x 12 mins games
Coaching Points:
· Good Communications
· Balance & defensive shape
· Press as a unit
· Max the space in the pitch
· Create angles to support the person on the ball
· Don’t get attracted to the ball & work with your units
Important when we loose the ball in the final 3rd that we create a Mid Block defensive shape quickly

· Understand that you made need to fill in for another player if they are out of position & they fill yours.

Method:
· Warm up with a Team of 4 pressing players in the middle working hard for 90 seconds.
· If pressing team wins the ball, they play 4v3 against 3 inside Red.
· 2 touch for reds and unlimited for Blues
· Combine this with rondo with dynamic warm ups
