Looking to support understanding of why speed of play is important, quality of passing, body shape when receiving the ball (frontfoot backfoot). How team-mates can support player on the ball and play forward in a positive and supporting environment.

Organization:
20x30Y field, set up as shown 1 minute rounds then rotate players from outside to in. Players must always dribble through blue box for next point to count. They cannot enter the box on the side they excited must always be a different side of the square.
Instructions:
1.6 players on outside 6 on inside of blue cones.
2.Player look to dibble out of blue square and play 1-2 pass to player on the outside
3.Players cannot enter the square the way they exited
4.After 1 minute roate players from out to in.
Coaching Points/Questions:
Why would you need to get your head up when dribbling?
What could you do to create space away from team-mates?
How could the players on the outside help the players on the inside?
Where would your planted foot face when playing the pass to team-mate?

Regressions/Progressions:
P: Make it a competition how many people can you visit in 1 minute
P: Must use weaker foot for pass
P: Players look to play pass to outside player leave the ball with them and go find someone else to recieve from (always finding different entrance to blue square.

Organization:
30x40Y grid with 5Y channel running through centre of field. 4+4v4 defending players can have 1 player out of channel to press ball but 3 must remain in defenders channel. Blue team looks to switch play into red team for 1 point. If ball is played through blue gates then its worth 3 points. Defenders look to keep ball if won, look to keep for 6 seconds for 1 point or intercept pass for 1. Rotate defenders
Instructions:
1. Blue team look to move ball in square to move defenders away from gate by moving the ball in area drawing defender in
2. Once blue team have created space they look to play into red team through either gate for 3 points or not through the gate for 1.
3. Once red team receives the ball 1 defender (from 3 closest to the ball) can move into square to apply pressure on reds
4. Reds look to play back into blues with pressure applied from greens

Why is speed of play important?
What can team-mates do to help move green team?
Where would you look to move the ball to and Why?
How can different types of pass affect defenders position?

Regressions/Progressions:
P: 3 touch max
P: time limit on switching to opposite team
P: Allow 2 green players to go in and pressure blue and red teams
P: Introduce second ball

Organization:
30x40Y grid split into 2 30x20Y fields 4 mini goals or 4 cones with balls on top of them.
2 15 minute games then rotate teams.
Instructions:
closest to goal can use hands behind blue cones

individual coaching pull players to side and question why they are doing certain things ie movement, type of pass, support play, desicion making.

Organization:
20X30Y field, middle of field 10x10y skill box set up as shown.
Instructions:
Ball mastery, every player has a ball and looks to dribble round field using different parts of the foot, focus on close control and trying new tricks, weaker foot, changing speed, changing direction.
Coaching Points/Questions:
Why would you look to keep close control of the ball?
How do you reconize Where space is on the field?
What could you do to create space away from players in session?
cp's:
Head up when looking to find space, changing speed, changing direction, big touch/small, using inside, outside, laces, sole. Demonstrate skill of day (double sissor).
Regressions/Progressions:
P: 1 minute challange how many times can they touch the ball in 1 minute?
P: Players look to go into skill box and perform double sissor exiting out of square different way you came in.
P: coach gives players 3-5 commadments with names of fruit ie apple= 10 toe taps bannana= 10tick tocks orange= drawing a circle using sole of foot.
