Organization:
5 feet a side triangle
one player on each side and one in the middle
a pair of cones 2 feet apart to creat a gate on each side
Instructions:
players passing through the gates collect 1 point
player in the middle gets 3 points for getting the ball. middle player stays in for 60 sec before switching
Coaching Points/Questions:
hit the nose of the ball for a good pass
follow through the leg when passing
resting feet pointing toward the desired destination of pass
mid player rush and close in on the players with an angle
Regressions/Progressions:
add time limit on passes from the sides
mid player can get points by getting a touch on the ball, doesnt have to be a controlled posession
making the triangle larger or smaller, same with the gates

1v1 Def vs Att (30 mins)
Organization:
5x10
one player on each end of the tunnels
one ball for each tunnel
we can have an additional player on the line of each side taking turns for the1v1
Instructions:
Play a good pass on the ground to the player and rush to win the ball back
the att player must take the ball over the def line with control and not kicking it over the line
a bad pass gives the attacker a point
to controll the ball over the line wins a point
to win the ball as a def and taking the ball over the att line wins one point.
Coaching Points/Questions:
hit the nose of the ball for a good pass
run to the ball, dont wait for the ball
rush the att and slow down fast when approching the player, bend both knees and get low, one foot forward and shift the body weight on it(front foot)
dribble with speed and pace, change directions
Regressions/Progressions:
adding a waiting player on both ends to take turns
two players in the middle, one att one diff, one player as the reciever on each end to play the ball in for the att player.
