Structuring a practice module (Drill)
Creating overloads in wide areas.

See the guidance at the top of this page to understand why you are not seeing interactive Football/Soccer images.
Conditions:
Red CM or NO 10 must play into a wide area once they have recieved the ball off the server.
Only players aloud in the wide channels are red FB & winger and blue FB
Challenges:
Can the FB and winger look to create as many overloads in their channel as possible.
Targets:
Reds- Create 2 v 1's against the opposition full back and score in the main goal
Blues- Play the server within 10 seconds of winning the ball.

See the guidance at the top of this page to understand why you are not seeing interactive Football/Soccer images.
Coaching points:
Full back-
1. As soon as you play the ball to the wingers feet can we look to make a forward run.
2. If the winger is on the inside shoulder of the opposition full back can we look to play into this feet and then overlap on the outside of the full back.
3. If the winger is in the widest position possible can we look to play him and then make a run in between the full back and centre half.

See the guidance at the top of this page to understand why you are not seeing interactive Football/Soccer images.
Coaching points:
Winger-
1. If the FB is marking quite tightly can we look to draw him in closer to our FB then as you create enough space behind, spin and look for the ball over the top of him into the space. (To recieve long, come short)
2. If the FB is standing off you can we look to get as close as possible to him, maybe see if you can pull him any higher then quickly drop into the space to recieve the ball at your feet. (To recieve short, go long)
3. As the FB recieves the ball thats your trigger for either NO 1, NO 2 or if his first touch is a good touch forward and is not closed down can you look to play on either the inside of the opposition full backs shoulder or have your heels right on the touchline.

Organisation (15 mins)
7 v 7
Blue team are defending main goal with yellow keeper
Reds are the team i am working with and will be attacking the main goal with the server preferably being the 2nd keeper.
Yellow cones are placed from far line across to halfway line and run in line with 18 yard box.
White cones are placed 10 yards backwards of the halfway line and run from one touchline to the other.
Coach position:
Positioned to the side of serve so i can see both full backs and wingers and i am in a good place to stop play and step in either side.
