Football/Soccer Session (Difficult): Wall Passing - Climbing the Wall to Shooting (Start Time: 2017-07-18 18:00:00)

Find the 3rd Player (20 mins)

Organization:

Instructions:

Play starts with the first cone in the half center, passing it diagonally to the wing who plays it back to "supporting player" side midfielder who then gives a good serve into the shooter to finish on goal. The shooters are positioned outside of penalty area, after the shot collect your ball and join first passing cone. Every player moves to cone they pass.

Coaching Points:

-hips facing who you're going to pass it to next

-shooter receives with a touch into space facing the goal

-the run after the pass is quick

Finding the Shooter with Passing Combinations (20 mins)

Organization:

-see diagram for setup

-2 cones for shooter outside of penalty box

-1 cone in the wing and the other in the center of field

Instructions:

The players in the middle will starts with balls. They play a 1'2 with the shooter and then plays it to the wing who gives a pass for shooter to finish on goal. The shooter moves after the 1'2 into the space behind him to shoot. Shooter collects ball and dribbles to starting position in middle. Every player moves to where they passed.

Coaching Points:

-shooter moves after the 1'2, around behind the marker and check his shoulder

-play it with 1 touch

-pass in front to shooter

-hips open to server and next pass
