Warm up : Positive First Touch (10 mins)

Set up:  3 cones. from first cone to second(5m) From first cone to third cone(10m)

Description: 

  • players pair up per set of cones(3 cones)
  • One player at the first cone and their partner and the second cone
  • Players are to pass to each other

Progression: players will move from second cone to the third cone to pass(10m)

  • positive first touch(in front)
  • keep it close

TR1 : 4v2 Possession (15 mins)

Set up:  

20x20 grid(6 cones)

Description:  

  •  players pass around in one side of grid to complete 5 passes
  • after 5 passes are completed, pass is made to open player in opposite grid
  • attacking team moves in to opposite grid, one player stays open
  • defending players transition as well to keep pressure(4v2) in both sides
