Organization: Players are split into teams that will allow for 3-4 per group. Utilize various equipment to set out an obstacle course / relay race for players to navigate.
Description: One at a time, players will navigate the relay race and look to be the first team to get all of their balls back to their home base (net). Once the player completes the course they must run around their net and score before the next player can start.
Coaching points: Creative movement. Keeping ball close when dribbling - take your time (sometimes a bit slower can help!)
Progressions:
+start with hands only - allow players to navigate the course. Add in movement restrictions (cartwheel/somersault before starting, star jumps before getting your ball, backwards through the poles etc.)
+add in the ball needs to be dribbled back to their net (feet only)
+swap teams up and keep it fun!

Organization: Players are split into partners & start opposite each other on the outside of the area. 2 gates are marked with cones on either end zone. Area is approximately 10L x 12W (adjust based on age & ability).
Description: The team on the end lines looks to pass through the gates which will give them a point. The partners on the sides look to strike the kings/queens ball by passing across to their teammate. IF a team on the side successfully hits the kings/queens ball they swap and take their place. Each successful pass through the gates = 1pt. First to 10pts wins.
Coaching points: Strike with inside of foot for largest surface area = accuracy. Strike with laces for power. Timing of the pass - anticipate. Balance on plant foot & strike through middle of ball. Follow through and point towards your target. Eyes on ball as you are striking it.
Progressions:
+Must successfully control the pass through the gate
+Only 1 fake allowed per attempt
+left foot only
+laces only

Description: 3v3 / 4v4 Free play game (multiple fields). Score on goals or dribble and stop ball in end zone. Play kick in OR Dribble in if ball goes out of play.
Coaching Points: Follow Session topic + General Principles of play
Progressions: 1 ball game (team touches their net after a goal). multi ball game (touch your net after you score). everyone with a ball (dribble around your net after you score)

Organization: 10y x 10y / 12y x 12y area based on number of players. Create 2 areas if needed (8-10 max per group).
Description: Players play a game of pinnie tag. 2 players are it (red) while the rest have a pinnie tucked into either side of their shorts and try to avoid getting their pinnie pulled. If their pinnie is taken by someone who is it, they swap!
Coaching points: distance, space, timing of fakes, unbalance defender, change of speed.
Progressions: add a ball! Each player must now travel with a ball at their feet & avoid having their pinnie pulled.
