Set up: Field is a 20x30 grid with goals on both ends. Each team has a line on either side of the goal, all balls start with one line.
Facilitation: Play 2v2 in the grid. When the ball goes out over either end line the team defending that end goes off the field and two new players enter the field with a ball.
Coaching points: Stay plugged in and paying attention, even when the ball isnt in your area what do you need to be doing and thinking about to be ready to play? How quickly can you get on the field with the ball to counter attack? After you shoot, what should you be looking to do next? If you dont have the ball can you position yourself to both help your teammate and slow down a counter attack?

Set Up: In a 30x50 grid with goals on either end play 4v4 with one neutral player and two bumpers.
Coaching Points: Make sure you are plugged into the play at all times. We need to keep working hard and not take plays off. Are we looking to counter attack by transitioning quickly? When looking to counter, how can you use the additional players to create numbers up situations? How can we prevent the counter attack when we loose the ball? (Provide immediate chance so our teammates can get set up, drop in and cut off options for the rest of the team, we have to outwork the other team).

Set up two teams in this same set up on a 9v9 field. Continue to focus on the transition from attack to defense and defense to attack. How do we set up the next step? Try to think ahead as many steps as possible.
