Exercise Objectives:
This exercise can be used as a anaerobic fitness drill as part of your fitness session.
Field Preparation
Place each flag pole 20 yards apart in a circle as in the diagram above.
Coaching Pointers:
Position 2 players per flag pole, plus 4 more at one flag pole. The flag pole with 6 will be thestarting position.
To start, 4 players from the starting position sprint to the next flag pole. When they reach the nextflag pole 2 of the players stay there. The other 2 run to the next flag pole and rest. As soon as thefirst group hit the first flag pole, 2 players join them and sprint the length of 2 flags.
The whole concept is for each pair to sprint 2 flags and rest. On each sprint they will be paced by 2players. Each circle completed equals 160 yards.
Record total distance sprinted.

3 Teams of 5 Players - 2 Playing & 1 Around The Outside As Bounce Players
Each team to play each other = 9 mins X 3 Rounds = 27 mins - 2 Mins Rest Between Rounds Round 1 – Max 3 Touch
Round 2 – Man v Man
Round 3 – Unlimited Touches

Alternatives Games:
If you have no GK Play Possession - 5 Passes = 1 Goal.
20 Players or more have 2 pitches of Possession Setup.

-10 players max per group
- Player 1 passes into player 2 on the half turn and takes a first touch forward and passes out to player 3 who drives with the ball back to the start and joins the que.
- All players follow their pass then we do the same sequence but this time we change out to player 4
Make sure this is high intensity with lots of communication
followed by:
Dynamics - Lunges x 10, Side Lunges x10, Reach Down And In The Air x10, Quad Stretch (hold for 2s then swing leg through) x5 Each Leg
2) 4 Minute Passing Practice followed by:
Dynamics - Leg Swings Straight as High As Possible x 10, Legs Swings Across The Body x 10, Open The Gate x10, Close The Gate x10, Hop Forward And Stick x 5 Each Leg, Hop To The Side And Stick x 5 Each Leg
