Objective:
- introducing the cutback movements they will be seen in the game
- pointing out footwork and movement patterns we would want to see to find success
Activity:
- GK starts in middle of the half goal
- Steps out to the side to cut off the crossing zone ball, receives a low ball from S1
- GK rolls ball back to S1 and sets to wait for ball to move
- S1 plays ball up to coach (C) for a first time strike, if caught GK throws out to S2 shuffles across for volley, rebound love for S1 and S2
Coaching points:
- do we attack the ball forward or drop back into the goal to create time and space?
- what is success in this moment on the field, clean save or a proper parry away?
- checking our shoulder to scan and gather information for what will be in front of us?

Objective:
- open up to a live scenario where the goalkeepers now have to problem solve in front of them
- having them get comfortable with either trying to intercept the pass or open up into the goal for a strike
Activity:
- GK steps out to receive a back pass from S1
- GK find S2 at the top of the box outside
- S3 looks to make a run for a ball from S2, getting into the crossing zone
- S1 & S2 make different runs into the 18 for a cutback
Coaching points:
- have we scanned to gather information to where attacking players are approaching
- depending on the position of the crosser to we take a squared approach to intercept pass or plan to protect the goal?

Objective:
- Looking to prepare GK's for training session
- Using handling and ground familiarization to cognitively prepare GK
- Low impact and low intensity
Activity:
Set 1: GK off sets and drops into set position between 2 cone for volley to hands x6
Set 2: GK on hip takes 5 low diving saves and 5 collapse diving saves
Set 3: Double foot hop into collapse x3 followed by high dives x3
Coaching points:
- good hand shape and proper set position
- stay active on feet don't be flat footed
- load legs to explode
- attack everything forward
