OBJECTIVE: Improve Goalkeepers handling techniques, footwork and ability to play with feet while incorporating Decision making.

OBJECTIVE:These exercises are designed to improve the basic fundamentals of the GK position. Emphasis on set position handling, shot stopping and angle play.

GK steps forward then shuffle across, gets set for shot from S1.
PROGRESSION:

INSTRUCTIONS: GK makes initial save then deals with a low ball to either corner.
FOOTWORK:
1. Stationary
2. Drop step

SPEED & AGILITY INITIATIVES:
1. Foot work w Ladder follwed by 2 saves ( Countour / 3 yard Pounce )

INSTRUCTIONS:
A. GK deals with a through ball & immediately backpedals back to the goalline to deal with a shot.
B. 1 v 1 Breakaway ( 6 = Round)
COMPETITITON: GOAL = 1 Point
GK Stop = 1 Point
GK Collection = 2 Points
SHOT VARIATION:
1. Flighted
2. Driven
3. Bouncing

INSTRUCTIONS: GK deals with cross from S in crowded area. If GK drops cross or punches ball she then must deal with a live shot from opposite side of the the Corner kick

INSTRUCTIONS : GK does footwork then deals with shot from S1, S2 & S3. Server dribbles then beats defender before shooting.
COMPETITION: Round = 9 balls . Most points after 2 rounds wins
