2 players standing in the middle of the channel
1 player standing either end with a ball
Player from outside passes to player in middle who receives, turns and passes to player on opposite side

Progressions:
- 0/1/2 touch turns
- receiving front/back foot
Key points:
- weight/accuracy of the pass (pass appreciation) - to feet or into space?
- quality of first touch - keep the ball moving/front foot/back foot/body shape
- scanning/awareness - do we know who is around us?
- turning - how many touches to turn?
- movement - can we maintain clear passing lines/move into an area to receive the pass
- communication- verbal/visual

3 x 5 minute games
Key points (positive reinforcement during games):
- weight/accuracy of the pass (pass appreciation) - to feet or into space?
- quality of first touch - keep the ball moving/front foot/back foot/body shape
- scanning/awareness - do we know who is around us?
- turning - how many touches to turn?
- movement - can we maintain clear passing lines/move into an area to receive the pass (move every time the ball does)

4 passing gates (1in each corner)
Players work in groups of 2 or 3 to move the ball around the area either passing or dribbling.
They must work the ball to each corner to pass the ball through the passing gate to a teammate
Progression:
- Once players are familiar with the practice, turn it into a competition to see who can pass through the gates the most times (must go to each gate before returning to the first)
- players can only move the ball by passing (cannot run/dribble with the ball)
Key points:
- weight/accuracy of the pass (pass appreciation) - to feet or into space?
- quality of first touch - keep the ball moving/front foot/back foot/body shape
- scanning/awareness - do we know who is around us?
- turning - how many touches to turn?
