Drill- Crosses and Cutbacks (15 mins)
Key Factors
- Start from cross. GK to claim cross then distribute out to the opposite goal of the server. (RB/LB)
- Second ball server plays for a cutback inside 18yrd box which GK intercepts or drops and defends the goal. Reset to shot on the 18yard box.
- Position to defend front post and defend front half.
- Quick turn to set for shot on the 18 from server 3.
- Repeat both sides.

- CBs and LB/RB positioning to defend the cross/cutback

- Attacking team LW/RW/2 CFs and 10.
- Defending team win possession they play into the goals asap.

Server 1 loops high ball in and GK deals with cross. Then feeds server 1 the ball back. Keeper sets by post to recieve a cutback. He then turns on a 1/4 turn to recieve a ball replicating a cutback from server 3. Repeat both sides 4 times each GK.
