Organization:
6 sets of 2 cones 5 yards apart as shown. 2 yards between each set of 2 cones with an 8 yard space in the middle as shown.
Instructions:
- Players start next to 1st cone and sprint up to 2nd cone, back pedal between next set of cones, sprint forward between the next set and then back pedal to the middle where they receive 2 passes from coach and play back. From there they continue on through the next set of 6 cones as the did the first set, sprint/back pedal and then sprint back to the beginning.
- This is done 5 times one way and then they go 5 times the opposite direction, from right of the coach to the left.
- 10 total times through activity passing twice in the middle each time.
Progression:
- Now the players will side step up and back facing one direction in and out of cones. Once they get to the middle they must now chest trap 2 balls and pass back to coach.
- As before this is done 5 times facing one way and 5 times facing the other for a total of 10 times.
Final Progression:
- Players sprint up and back pedal between cones as before but now once they arrive at the middle the must head 2 balls back to the coach and continue on.
- This is done both directions as before for a total of 10 times.
