Screen 1

Here we have a position specific match with a possession focus and finishing the attack quickly.

Rules:

Each team is defending 4 mini goals and attacking the opposite 4. As seen in the picture there are 4 blue and 4 red. Players should pick a formation and stay on their positions to make it as match realistic as possible. 40x40 or bigger area because they are u17.

Coaching:

Transitions and reacting to how we lose the ball, the long ball is dangerous here because there are no offsides to start with. Pressing is also very important because as soon as they enter the opponents half, they have 4 different ways to score, so we want to win the ball high up the pitch.

Staying together as a unit and sticking to our formation and not just running all over the place.

Keeping the ball, being patient and waiting for gaps to form and then exploit them straight away. What is effective, long balls or playing combinations through the pitch?

Tempo tempo temoo and players are not allowed to just stand in front of the goals
