Distribution
Objective:
Improve goalkeepers distribution techniques.
Setup:
In pairs stand 20 yards apart with a tall cone in the middle.
Players will attempt to roll the ball using correct technique to knock down the cone. Each time a cone is knocked over a point is earned
Progression:
Goalkeepers practice distributing the ball using different techniques (throws, kicks) to the cone.
Increase distance by 5 yards for each technique.

3v3 Small-Sided Game, Handball
Objective:
Apply goalkeeping skills in a game context, emphasizing teamwork and communication.
Setup:
Set up a small-sided field (20x15 meters) with a goal at each end. Each team consists of three players.
This is a game of handball, players can use any technique to try and score, whilst also defending their own goal
No travelling
No snatching
Encourage goalkeepers to communicate with their teammates and make saves while also participating in distribution.
Progression:
Only use techniques used in previous drill.

Reaction Time Warm-Up
Objective:
Testing reaction time, movement and coordination.
Setup:
Get into groups of three
3 different coloured cones per group, 2 players stand either side while the other is the referee. Referee will call a colour and the players must touch the cone before there opponent. First to 10 then swap players.
Progression:
Integrate quick reaction exercises where coaches randomly call out commands (e.g., jump, dive left, dive right) that the players must follow while keeping their feet moving.
Coach will scatter balls around the area for players to run and jump on as fast as possible on command.
