2v2 defending to start with waves of attack.

3 sets of defenders working together in pairs.

Attack can come from centrally or the wide area. Number that is called out is the pair that attack.

Extension - Add in a thrid recovering defender coming from the wide postion

Now is a 3v3 with the 3 attackers pasing a ball from position 1 - 2 - 3. Whoever has the ball when coach shouts go attack from their position.

Coaching points - 1st defender sprints to close down the ball.

2nd defender provides cover and depth.

GK 2-2-2 formation against a 1-3-2.

3 zone game.

Ball always starts from attacking (yellow) GK.

One attacker and one defender from the middle zone can go and help out in the defensive zone.
