Football/Soccer Session (Academy Sessions): Shooting for power or finesse
Description
After a solid warm up, players are divided into two teams vs a GK. A simple give and go is played with the coach and the return pass is delivered in a variety of ways. The coach will call a command of "power" or "finesse" identifying the type of finish the player should attempt. Teams rotate positions after shooting/shagging and score is kept over time. Coaches position can be varied to create different shooting angles within the box. Progressions can be adding a defender and/or a neutral player to allow for combination play and opposed finishing.
