Pressing session
The coach will feed the balls in from the middle.
Can the players make 10 passes whilst being pressed by an opposition player.
If the ball is won or the the team makes 10 passes the coach will play the ball to the opposition team .
Progressions
More than 1 player can go and press the ball.

Can the two teams on the outside keep possession of the ball and switch it to the opposite team.
Can the team in the middle win the ball and then play out to the other team, transferring into the area of the team they won the ball from.

Allowing 1 or more defenders to press the ball in the opposition area

Key Points
The team in the centre of the pitch will attack one of the goals.
If they score another ball will be played and the same team will attack the opposite goal.
When the attacking team misses or the ball goes out of play the attacking team will swap with the defending them.
Progressions
Defenders can press in the middle of the pitch to try and win the ball back.
If the ball is won in the middle area possession is transferred to the team who wins the ball (they become the attacking team)
Coaching Points
Press the ball quickly and as a unit.
When the ball has been won retain possession and attack the opposite goal quickly.

Defending with an under load
Key Points
The session will start with 2 rondos.
The attacking players must try and retain the ball, if the defender wins the ball he will go back to his group and the next defender will go and press.
The first team to have every player go and press and ball and win it successfully is the winner.
Progressions
Only one touch is allowed.
Two touches must be used.
One touch followed by two touches and then following the same pattern.
