Set Up
- Quarter pitch
- 6 players play between the cones on the sidelines to provide options for passing, but cannot enter the playing area
- 8 players play 4v4 in on the pitch, using the outside players to create give and gos, passing angles and options
Instructions
- Players must make 5 consecutive passes to score a point
- Players on the outside can play to the other players on the same team on the sideline
- Change the players on the outside every 6 minutes
Progressions
- Introduce a 10 pass rule
- Limit touches to 2-3
- Introduce 1 or 2 neutral players who have to play the ball before the attacking team can score a point
Coaching Points
- When transitioning attack to defence, players must pick up a man and close down space and passing lanes to regain possession
- When transitioning from defence to attack players must open up and create space, passing lanes and opportunities to retain possession
- Passing accuracy, taking the ball on the back foot, opening up away from pressure

Organization:
-create a grid 40x40
-10 to 12 players
-combination of large/small cones as per diagram
-pair of 2 with one ball
Instructions
Start off playing with hands. Players will make a 1-2 pass using a cone as a reference for an opponent. Start with combination 1-2 passing. First pair to attack 10 cones wins.
Progression
1-2-3 combination pass as shown on the marked side (labelled Progression)
Coaching Points
- open body to recieve and make the 2nd pass with one touch
-movement after the 1st pass, quick into space

- asking for the ball
