5v2 Rondo (Diamond + 1)
Same principles of our basic 5v2 rondo however when we look to add in the 1v1 focus, our aim should be for attackers to recognize when to connect their passes like before for (+1), or look for the (+10) by receiving on one line, and dribble ACROSS the grid to the other line.
- Asking our players to understand if they should pass or dribble
- Awareness of defenders and space before they receive
- First touch to set them up for their next action (pass or dribble)
- If a player does dribble across the grid, players on outside must rotate to 'fill the diamond'
- If player on the ball has no time on the ball, players off the ball need to support (come to) their teammate to help maintain possession.
- If player on the ball has time on the ball, players off the ball need to stretch the game with their positioning to help stretch the defense.
- If we lose the ball as attackers, first step towards the ball to win the ball back immediately.
- If using multiple grids, First team to 50, 75, 100 points wins

5v2 Rondo (Diamond + 1)
Same principles of our basic 5v2 rondo however when we look to add in the 2v1 focus, our aim should be for attackers to recognize when to connect their passes like before for (+1), or look for the (+10) by demonstrating an overlap, a give and go, a take over, blind side run, in to out or out to in combinations.
- Asking our players to recognize the space to attack into and how to do so.
- If there is space around the defenders, through the defenders, or over the defenders.
- Awareness OFF the ball is crucial
- If a player does completes a combo around / across the grid, players on outside must rotate to 'fill the diamond'

5v2 Rondo (3rd Player Runs)
Same principles of our basic 5v2 rondo however when we look to add in the 3rd player run focus. Our aim should be for attackers to recognize when to connect their passes like before for (+1), or look for the (+10) by demonstrating an up-back-through option.
- Asking our players to recognize the space to attack into and how to do so.
- If there is space around the defenders, through the defenders, or over the defenders.
- Awareness OFF the ball is crucial
- Up - Back - Through principle is demonstrated when we can find either green target (up), to lay off to central white player (back), and into our 3rd player runs (yellow players) in yellow gates (through).

5v 2 Basic Rondo
5v2 Rondo (Diamond + 1)
Create Options via Width, Depth and Central Option
- Players in Diamond (on outside of grid) are responsible for their line (4 lines, 4 players)
- Central player is responsible for creating triangles and diamonds, while also finding the split pass "off the shoulder" of the defenders
- If player on the ball has no time on the ball, players off the ball need to support (come to) their teammate to help maintain possession.
- If player on the ball has time on the ball, players off the ball need to stretch the game with their positioning to help stretch the defense.
- Defensive team aims to win ball and dribble / combine out of the grid
- Each successful pass = + 1
- Each 'dribble out' by the defensive team = + 5
- If using multiple grids, First team to 25, 50, 75, 100 points wins
