For this session we will demonstrate players several ball mastery foundations. We want players to start to get comfortable with the ball using different surfaces of the foot. The biggest take away for each player should be dribbling with their head up and recognizing when to take small touches vs when to take big touches. If there is space available the player can take a big touch (ronaldo touch) to attack the open space. If there is a lot of traffic (pressure) a player should use small touches (messi touch) to control the ball and maneuver around the pressure.
Introduce MVP system at the beginning of practice
-all players start with 5 MVP points at the beginning of practice
-a player will receive 1 MVP point if they are being a good listener, trying their hardest, and demonstrating a growth mindset with what is being taught
-a layer will lose 1 MVP point if they are not listening to coach, distracting the group, and not participating in the session
-give the MVP award at the end of scrimmage to the player with the most MVP points at the end of practice.

Game 2: Super Hero Tag (you can start without the ball for younger players)
1. Ask each soccer player what superhero they want to be each player starts with a ball
2. Coach will be the villain (tagger)
3. each superhero has 3 superpowers to start each time they are tagged they will lose 1 superpower
