Technique 2 (15 mins)
INSTRUCTIONS
* Start same as Technique 1
* Defenders now stay central
* Striker peels off to recieve
* Control & shoot
COACHING POINTS
* Peel away from defender quickly
* Open body to recieve
* Be positive, first touch to take you inside penalty area towards goal
* Execution of shot, accuracy before power
PROGRESSION
* Defender can close down on strikers first touch

Function 1 (30 mins)
INSTRUCTIONS
* Play starts with Target Man (T)
* Blues try to score as normal focussing on strikers movement and finishing as in Tech 1 & 2
* Reds score by winning possession and passing to target man
* Floaters (F) have 2 touches and play for team in possession
COACHING POINTS
* CM's drop to create space for CAM
* CAM find space between lines to recieve on half turn
* Strikers work on movement & finishing from Tech 1 & 2
* If CB's both get pulled out wide, can CAM be positive and attack the penalty area
