organization:
- 45' x 30', 3 teams of 4 players
- set up 4 cones on each side line approximately 12m apart
- coaching red and blue while managing yellow to start
- yellow start in the middle area and red with possession
- yellow can send 2 players into the zones to pressure
- 2 yellow must stay in the middle area at all times
- red plays possession until they can find a lane through to the other side
- if successful blue has possession and 2 yellow players that were in the middle press
- if possession changes the team that lost possession now press
- if ball goes out, team that last touched switches and starts

- receive on back foot

- angle of passes through the middle zone
- command when the ball is played wide to send the pass through right away

organization:
- split field up into 2 grids
- 15' x 15' area
- split players into groups of 6
- coaching blue managing red
- 3 players start with possession on one side of the grid and 1 on the opposite side
- 1 defender in the grid and 1 outside
- players play possession until a pass can be made successfully to the other side
- 2 outside players move to the opposite side to support play
- defenders switch once the ball goes to the opposite side
- defender switches with player that had last touch and when it goes out

- warm up (10 minutes)
organization:
1.
- place a cone, approximately 12m from the end line
- divide players into 2 even side by side lines
- players preform dynamic stretching (stretching while moving)
- side shuffles, high knees, opening/ closing hips, etc. (3-4 mins)
2.
- divide players into 2 even groups of 6 for rondo variation
- 4 v 2
- 4 in possession 2 defenders
- when defender gets a touch on the ball, player who had last touch switches with defender - quick transition
- ball goes out team who had last touch loses possession
key factors and progressions:
1.
- encourage players to take their time with dynamic stretching
- including dynamic stretching in their routine is essential
- discuss the importance of warming up their muscles to allow their bodies to operate at 100% ability and prevent injuries
2.
- instruct players to keep moving while the ball is moving within their space
- this shows how they can support one another by coming to in order to keep possession and how to draw the defender in to play around them
