Scenario 1
B1 plays the ball into B2 who has created space to receive.
B2 is on the half turn to play forward.
B3 makes a run to receive the ball.
B2 plays the ball into space for B3.
Coaching Points
Check shoulders to see the pictures (before and as the pass is made).
Be on the half turn.
Positive touch forward.
Movement off the ball.

Scenario 2
B1 plays the ball into B2 who has created space to receive.
B3 makes a run to support B2.
B4 makes a run to receive the ball.
B2 sets the ball to B3, who plays into B4's run (3rd man runner).

Set up
Area: 70x50 yard.
Attacking team: GK-3-1-2-1
Defending team: GK-3-2-2
How to play
1. The attacking team must look to make the pitch big and create spaces that can be used when attacking.
2. Defending team are conditioned to work the ball up the pitch as quick as possible, either for an attempt at goal or long ball into the GK hands.
3. Play starts with the GK's playing out of their area to a teammate.
Scenarios to look for: Bounce pass, Third man runs, switching play.

Each team must pass and move the ball around the area.

1. Cannot be in the square for longer than 5 seconds.
2. Cannot be in the same square as a teammate.
