Organization:
- Adapt the size of the are to the ability of the players
- 4 gates made of poles or large cones as shown
- Place four cones in the middle to in front of their gate to dribble towards
Instructions:
- The player at the front of the line will dribble to the middle come and perform a turn or skill required by coach and then turn to the right.
1) Players will start by dribbling and use: an L turn, pull back and turn with left and right leg, Ronaldo chop, Maradona. *Switch and go to the left* (Players run inside the triangle gate to receive the ball)
2) Players will dribble and then perform a step-over, double step-over, turn to left the outside hook to go right. Add more moves to challenge your players.
Progression:
Players receiving: show for the ball to the left of the gate and do a layoff to the player who passed to you and then receive it back in the middle of the triangle and continue. (timing and weight of pass is important)

Organization:
End zone should be 16 yards wide
Instructions:
2v2 game. When (blue) gets the ball across the end-line the defending team (red) drop out and rejoin their line and the reds at the beginning of their line can start attacking as soon as blue crosses the end-line. Player who dribbled through on blue must recover quickly as the other team would have started attacking after they scored, or ball went out of play etc. Leaving a 2v1 for the new team on to attempt to exploit.
When the defender wins the ball, the run of play is over. You can progress to have the defending team counter attack after winning the ball.
Coaching Points:
- Anticipation and awareness of space and quick attack
- Recognizing numbers your in a 2 v 1 situation and exploiting it
- If the player is able to recover, dribble at that and make them make the decision of weather they will set up to you of continue to cut off the pass.
- Runs and movement of your partner.
- Players must stay onside
- player attacking must stay max 10 yards away from each other.
- Finish!

Organization 15 minutes
- Balls on both sides of the pitch.
- Player receives a pass and dribble at pace and then takes a shot the the gk.
- Each player gets 10 seconds to shoot
- After you shoot collect your ball and join the other line
*Switch the players passing the ball in order to attack from the other wing*
Progression:
- Player dribbles and shoots at the goal without a defender
- Player who shot the ball turns and becomes the defender to the player coming from the same line as him/her (defender collects ball and goes to other line)
Competition:
1 point for a goal
1 additional point for getting beyond the defender

Change of Pace (10 mins)
Set-up:
- You will need 5 orange cones and they will be placed 10 yards from the strating point (red cone). The orange cones will be placed 5 yards from each other with the starting cone (red) placed in between; creating a chanel.
- *Depending on numbers you may want to create a few more chanels*
- Then line up 5 - 6 red cones from the orange intersection
Instructions:
- On the coaches command players at the front of their lines will dribble as fast as they can without losing control of the ball to the red cones. From there they will weave throught the cones to the end then take the shortest way back to their line.
Coaching points:
- From the starting point to the intersection, player most accelerate with a powerful stride into the space (shaded area)
- Make sure they are moving as fast as they can whilest still maintaining control of the ball
- Must see a explosive change of pace when reaching open space
Progression:
- Have players use just their weak foot
- Have them preform different moves throught the cones. EX (sole roles, toe taps, just right, just left... etc)
