SSG: Bielsa Ball

Set-Up:

  • Area: 30x30 yards
  • Goals: Two small goals placed on each side
  • Players: 5v5

Activity:

  • Teams aim to score in either of the smaller goals, earning 1 point per goal.
  • After a goal or when the ball goes out of play, the opposition has 4 seconds to restart play. Failure to restart in time awards possession to the other team.
  • The player who kicks the ball out must retrieve it and replace it before returning to play.

Progressions/Challenges:

  • Teams can only score if all players are inside the opposition’s half.
  • Earn double points for consecutive goals.
  • Earn triple points for scoring with less players when a teammate is retrieving the ball.
