Small sided game, with 2 teams trying to score in each goal.
There are no corners or throwins, if the ball exits play on the side, it is a kick in. If it goes out on the end, it always restarts with the keepers. If a team scores, they keep possession and they restart from their keeper.
Coaching Points:
- All you need is a step away from the defender to shoot
- Vary your shot selection
- Proper shooting technique

Size and number of players on each side varies with age and numbers. Usually on each half it should be 3v1/4v1 plus a keeper.
No one can cross the halfway line, must stay on your half.
Object is to score in the oppositions net, its tight and short to encourage lots of shots (this is not a passing practice). Whenever the ball leaves the play, a new ball is started from the keeper who didn't loss possession of the ball. If you score, that team restarts with the ball again.

Striking the ball Warmup (15 mins)
Depending on numbers make as many channels as needed to allow for players to get enough repetitions. There will be one player in the middle fo the channel (they will stay there for a short duration).
The player starting with the ball on one end will strike the ball in the air for the player in the middle to catch, once this happens the player that kicked it will follow the pass, the player that caught it will roll the ball into that players path, who will then pass to the player who is in the front of the opposite line.
Progressions:
- Change the technique the players are using: laces, chip, side-foot
Coaching Points:
- Ensure proper shooting technique (locked ankle, pointed standing foot, follow through, hitting the proper place on the ball for the desired technique)
