Setup
In a 25 x 20 grid, create 5-6 gates using cones.
Instructions:
1- Have players get a partner. They need one ball per pair.
2- Dribbling around the grid, players find their partner on the other side of a gate and make a pass between the two cones.
3- They then run to a different set of cones and repeat.
Progression
Take one of the pairs and without a ball, they become defenders trying to take away the pass between the other pairs.
Coaching points
1- Passing accuracy
2- Communication with partner
3- First touch with purpose...close to body, in direction of next step
4- Constant movement

Setup
Create a 10 x 10 grid with cones at four corners. 3 players, each at one cone, middle player starts with ball.
Instructions
1- Player makes a pass to one of other players. Can't pass ball diagonally.
2-Player not receiving ball must get to open cone to be in supporting position to receive a pass.
3- Players continue to pass and move in this pattern.
Progression
a) Only two touches.
b) Only one touch.
c) Add defender for pressure and to encourage quicker passes.

2-Getting in supporting position off of the ball
3-Giving the ball direction with first touch

Set up
Create a 40 x40 field with two 10 yard end zones.
Two teams...5 v 5 with one of the players from each team in the end zone.
Instructions:
1-Players in center zone scrimmage with intention to pass to player in end zone to score a point. A point is scored when a pass is made from center zone and received by teammate in the end zone.
2- After a team scores a point, ball is put into play by player in end zone who scored a point to member of opposing team.
Progression
Must complete 3-4 passes in center zone before looking to score in end zone.

High knees down, heel kicks back
Shuffle down and back
Skip down and back
Jog 5 steps, pull in knee for hamstring stretch, repeat all the way down
Lunges back
Jog 5 steps, raise knee up and rotate out, repeat all the way down
Jog 5 steps, raise knee up and rotate in, repeat all the way back
Jog 5 steps forward, jog 5 steps backward, then sprint...do this down and back
