Timings
- 4x4 minutes 60 seconds rest for coaching points
Details:
- maroon team trying to complete 5 passes for a point
- blues try to regain possession before playing forward into wingers
- wide player drives to goal with a maroon player recovering to engage with him (2v2)
- defender in final 1/3 to engage or delay depending on team mates position
- maroon team score a point if they can play the ball forwards back to overload team
Coaching Points
- Angle of approach to cover danger: passing lane, shooting line
- Body in to protect ball away from attacker
- Defending with team mate / unit
- Recognise situations to initiate press: bad touch, bad pass, long pass
