Technical: Check shoulders, receive on half turn
Lines- 3's
1 minute rounds
1. Partner holds up fingers 1 to 5- Call out number before receiving, reset in the middle, check same side to receive and play on both feet
2. Direct with arms- Left, right, pressure on back
3. Direct with movement- 1,2 to reset and allow other player to move into space
Tactical: Play out the back/High press & finish

2. Half field- 1 team Play out of back to target goals/1 team High press, finish on goal

Objective:
Teams in possession- Reds + GK's playing to blues & visa versa (Roles exchange when ball gets played across)
Team out of possession- Yellows pressing & covering to win ball back and score
Set up & rules:
-Teams in possession are trying to break lines to team on other side, must play one pass before playing back
-Team out of possession attack side they win ball off, if they create a goalscoring opportunity they swap with team they regained possession from
*Restarts are always to opposite side from team that has lost possession, then they start their press*
*Example is based on Reds building out and blues as their attacking options, yellows pressing*
Progressions:
1. 3 channel game- Must play through wide channels/Central channel, receiving team can check in, can play in air
2. Half field- Add/take away target goals
Can set up 3 fields, 2 in opposing boxes and one across width of middle third if necessary

1. Receive on backwards foot, V across, pass to other side (Near side-body between ball and player/cone)
2. Step in, check out, Receive on forward foot, pass to other side (Across body)
3. Step out, check in, Set stance on first touch replicating pressure on back or Play first time before pressure arrives
4. Vary approach each time
Tactical: Crossing & Finishing
1. from wide channels (Refer to sequence)
2. from central channel (Refer to sequence)
3. Variations based on wingers first touch *from deep, byline or recycle back*

Technical: Half turn to closed hips- recovery run to 2v1
Channels: 3 work, 1 rest
Rotate each round: 1 feeder/defender, 1 receiver/1st attacker, 1 2nd attacker, 1 resting
1. Through ball on floor

Organisation & Set up *Example in shaded channel*
Phase 1
-'Blue 1' checks out to receive on half turn
-'Red D' plays pass, 'Blue 1' closes hips to protect ball and plays back to 'Red D' (pass 1 & 2)
-'Blue 1' resets back in middle and the two players repeat sequence both sides until..
-'Red D' plays 'through ball' down middle of channel (pass 3)
Phase 2
-Once pass is played, 'Blue 1' runs to collect ball whilst 'Red D' presses as defender, 'Blue 2' makes recovery run to be option back for 'Blue 1'
-'Blue 1' & 'Blue 2' now work together in a 2v1 progress ball to 'D 1's starting line'
-If 'D 1' steals ball, they try to dribble across other end line
Tactical: Switching point of attack
Organisation & Set up
3 teams
-In possession (REDS)
-Options for switching point of attack: Must have 1+ player in each box, allowed link up player out of box (BLUES)
-Out of possession: Pressing in possession team and covering spaces to other boxes (YELLOWS)
Rules
-Team in possession can not play out of box until all players are in box
-Team out of possession can press with 2 players to start, to progress they can press with as many as the want
-Once team plays out of box, (REDS) they must move to occupy all remaining boxes (BLUE set up in example)
-If the team out of possession wins ball, they play to options in boxes, team that loses ball now press and cover
