Objectives:Improving Balance, coordination & agility
Emphasis: Lateral Quickness, Balance
Coaching Points: Knees bent when changing direction
Organization: 3 lines,
Equipment: 3 hoops/hurdles, 2 poles, 1 ball per line.
Goals: None
Instructions: Players will begin by jumping through hoops or over hurdles. They will sprint to pole and complete a 360 turn around the pole, move to the next, complete another 360 degree turn, sprint towards ball and perform a form of ball work. Ex; toe taps, foundations, or combination of both.
Progression: For older age groups, add a second ball and third ball for players to dribble around the poles.

Type: Dribbling Knockout
Duration: 12 minutes
Objectives: Dribbling
Emphasis: Finding space when dribbling
Coaching Points: Keep ball close to foot, head up when dribbling
Organization:25x25 yard box (or use painted lines already on field.)
Equipment: Balls, cones
Goals: None
Instructions: Choose one player to be defender all the other players are attackers with ball. Defender tries to get the ball from attacking players while attacking players try to dribble away from defender. If defender kicks their ball out that player is out until the next round.
Progression: Add a second/third defender.

Players will dribble into the middle and turn to the right and look to finish. Move to turning to the left and look to finish. Progress to having the first player that gets into the square gets to decide which way they go, other player must go in the opposite direction.

Emphasis: Change of Direction
Coaching Points: Turn, Accelarate
Organization: Two nets, Balls in the middle with coach. Players lines slightly in front of coach so players can't see the ball.
Equipment: Balls, Two starting cones,
Goals: Two small goals
Instructions: Coach plays the ball into the middle and players move to try to win the ball then play 1v1 trying to to score on either net.
Progression: Players begin in different starting positions ex; Sitting down, on their stomachs, eyes closed etc.
